Everquest in real life

These three young STREET YOUTHS were hanging out by my car, combing their hair with plastic combs and rolling cigarettes in the sleeves of their leather jackets. So I pulled out my mandolin from my 5th backpack and put it in my non-dominant hand, strummed it three times (for 3 seconds at a time) and they all looked sad so I was able to get into my car without incident.
My life is average.

(Do weird dreams count as real life?)

Oh and just yesterday (this is in-game now; I obvs didn't do anything in real life yesterday, all I do is p99 and dream) I was wondering, as this Giant Snake was fleeing from me in blackburrow, how this could happen:

YOU punch A Giant Snake for 12 damage!
You try to kick A Giant Snake, but miss!

Was your experience with the rattlesnake similar? Did you punch it with your bare hand but miss it with your Dr. Martens?
