To be fair. A warrior who has no concept of doing their job, the mechanics involved, and an ability to make decisions on the fly in regard to discs, aggro, gear is by definition: bad at eq.

If he asked perhaps along the lines of: "why should I use either disc and in what situation, and how do they work so I can understand?"

Then, we can get technical and explain it for the betterment of the player and all who read. Instead, like most people bad at this game, they want it handed on a silver platter with zero technical evidence and thus another ill informed dude with someone else's opinion who preaches it is born. Why help those who don't want to be helped, and why not teach those who have a genuine interest in being better.

Or just auto attack and disc def/evasive with a roll of the dice.

And nothing from there except for askin him to speak to me if they don't sell. I simply didn't see the value in them at that price. Still don't. But glad for you they sold for 500-550k. Is maybe spend 450 on a pair given the chance to discuss it.

just as an addition, I in no way think that you wanted to get involved in any underhanded dealings from my experiences with you. I have just sold enough highend loot and a few accts to know that on larger items/accts your always goingto get email addresses and skype contact info mixed in with in game offers, I just try to distance myself from those from the soonest point possible

Lemme explain to you how it works. We'll use our trade as an example.

You - Ill offer 300k
You - I also have ES legs I can trade
me - I need to know how much ES legs go for, and what you consider the value of them at, and I also need to know what your actual offer is. is it 300k + legs? is it less PP + legs? Im assuming its not 300k + legs, so I need to know what you consider your legs worth so I know going into the trade what to counter offer you if necessary. And let me explain how that works.

See if you consider them to be worth 250k, and I see them as only worth 220k, see now we're at a 30k difference in our proposed trade values. Things on this server cost a certain range of plat, and if I want to get 400k for my item, and you're offering me 150k+legs you value at 250k, I see that trade as only 370k.

Do you not understand how that works? and furthermore why the first thing someone might ask when you offer an additional item to a trade, is how much you consider that item to be worth? If I know for a fact I can get legs somewhere else for less than what you're considering them, I certainly am not going to value them in a trade at the same price you do.

Thats not ecwikitraderscum, thats normal intelligent everquest trading.

If there is such a thing as ectraderscum, you're the only one in this thread that has so far fit the bill.
