Help with finishing the coldain ring quest?

When I get home I'll check my logs for 8th ring war.

But basically what happens is the entire Ry'Gorr fort despawns and then 40ish orcs and 8 giants spawn outside (split evenly left and right of the entrance). I think 4 giants flank each side of the entrance and then Ry'Gorr orcs along the wall going out. These should be higher level cons than normal orcs I believe.

Inside spawns the firbrand, chief, oracle and 1-2 named giants (will check logs again). They each always drop a specific item. Blacksmith will always drop dark ember. Chief always drops spine chill spear. Oracle always drops Ry'Gorr oracle shield. (These are 100% drop rates for the 8th ring triggered versions of these mobs) I think the giant named dropped something but I forget. Chief will drop in addition to that loot his head.

Nothing sees invis so you can invis past everything into the fort (which is now empty except those 4-5 named mobs). And harmony them and single pull/kill chief. Then invis back and turn in the head. You have to wait until the Coldain despawns and respawns as a different version before you turn it in though.

Also this part is completely MQable. You can do rings 1-7 on a character then start up the war and let someone else loot the chief head and turn it in. As long as you have non-KoS faction you should get ring 8 on that person(did it 2-3 times on Mac server like that).

With invis the entire event is trivialized though.
