Well I've been charming skeletons in the NE corner of DL. It's ok, much better than BW kiting. Been doing the rotting skeleton camp then swarm charming the 7 skeletons at the bottom of the hill.

I'm going to head back to HS as soon as I get Thrall of Bones. I'm told that not having that spell was the reason I was having difficulties in HS. I was under the impression that the only affect that the level of charm I used was the level of mobs I could charm. Apparently the higher level charm you use the less likelihood of charm breaks/resists. I was always told to use the lowest level of charm possible. So I guess I'll find out.

I have nothing except the "its classic" response, yumyums. That's how CHA worked in classic and that is how it should work here.
You're right but I don't think that's how it works here.

Incorrect, you should only be using beguile undead on any mob from basement through north. Thrall of bones should only be required when charming mobs in south/east.

If you plan on going to hs it would also be a great call to bring a few stacks of peridots and keeping up manaskin(not the higher level one) to absorb damage, keeping you alive on unexpected charm breaks.

I'm just gonna go there at 55. Too lazy to deal with constant charm breaks.
