Would it have been any different if this was not the first mass pvp after the PnP and this was not Exed?

I think if this was colgate that got slashed on rez and this was dreadlands fight the next day, tune wouldn't be banned.

If GM's are re-evaluating the PnP and adjusting it, I think all the prior bans based PURELY on PnP violations should be looked at or lifted and given a free pass.

So far I don't think anyone has been banned for actively voilating PnP on purpose, intentionally. That I personally know of.

I advocated the GMs step in and make a statement on this server. But permabanning Tune day1 of PnP is not a positive way of doing it.

yes everybody stop during mass pvp and search logs to make sure you're not killing the same player someone already killed
dont worry about if they're low hp or in range or a known rival guild member. more important to worry when the last time they got YT'd was
gr8 stuff

I assume he called LnS after already being hit while naked. Then called LnS. The slash came something like 15 seconds later. That is a long time in EQ.

GMs were there watching everything unfold. I'm not sure who you are trying to convince. If you want to make a thread about how the GMs are stupid and don't understand what is going on in front of them so be it. You are arguing pointless facts here.
As a top tier pvper I spend most of my time reading shout and ooc mid pvp to make sure I don't miss witty comments.

The reality is that if you want written text to be noticed during a chaotic event like PvP you need to spam it. If you think other wise your probably keyboard turning and clicking pet attack on the beaches of Oasis.

Exed should not have attempted to walk through the middle of an on going PvP fight at 10% hp. Nothing more to it.

Exed is not some first time blue convert to red. This didn't grief him. Banning someone for getting a killing blow on a veteran PvPer is stupid and not what PnP is designed to do. PnP is designed to stop attrition battles and protect people from being corpse camped. Wait till fights over and safely get your belongings.

Tune you're not a bad enough player to try to put this off as a mistake. You've gotten literally 500 kills in the past five months, more than most guilds, and now you're trying to use innocence through naivety as an excuse. Dont be so obtuse. It is clear what your intention was, that argument in my opinion is dead.

All that said, should you be perma-banned on a character as powerful as Tune for violating recently concocted and half-hatched, ill-conceived and poorly explained rules that were the present PnP on January 2nd? In my opinion, no. Suspended to 'teach' or to 'set' the rules, sure, you are being made an example of. Should your permanent removal from the game be modified, in short, duh.

You had 17 seconds from when he first ooc'd LNS. He then said it again. He then said, "LOL" which leads me to believe he was under attack (especially since he had < 55 hitpoints 10 seconds later. Your 3.0 cast denon's aoe stun hit two characters not in Nihilum, Quiet and Exed. You aren't the victim here, brother, you had plenty of ability to not kill a naked Exed who was clearly on LNS but you failed to do that. You were negligent, you dun goofed. Don't try to sell it any other way, Meat Cats ain't buying it.

Elderan took down the leader board so it couldn't be used as evidence for PnP violations "by popular demand".

Well well, an UNbiased, and unpolitical opinion. That's intelligent and well thought out for once. Pretty epically sad no <Red Dawn> forumquesttrolls could even come close b4 now.

I still say PnP sux and unbann tune for the love of Duke and Dragons.

You are assuming the suspension was based off of that /shout "LnS"

The GMs witnessed this fight. I don't know how it went down other than those logs but a player running at bard speed can pick up a lot of extra text that might not have been too close to the final blow.

There are several scenarios that could have looked really bad that the text doesn't tell. An example could be Exed running away from combat, naked, dragging corpse as he is run down, away from the combat, by Tune and killed. I don't want to argue what actually happened, I don't know or care. The only person Tune can argue this with is the GM that banned him. The GM made a judgement call and is the only other side of this story besides what is coming from Tune. The GM isn't going to post about it here.

Don't attempt to LnS mid pvp.

Stop being a dumb fuck.

Predatory practices.

I feel like Exed killing was tip of the iceberg for this scum bag Tune, long deserving of a ban.
