I've been haunting sebilis for around a month or so now. lvl 55. Not too over the top, not calling attention to myself, the George Costanza of enchanters.

Went down to disco tonight and we had a good fight down. Some drama even. But then, Gruplinort spawned and we killed him, despite threats from another group he would be stolen.

So what to do with the Bonecaster's Robe?

Apparently, we random. Even though my current robe is an Advisor's Robe. And I am the only int caster in the group.

This is the argument I generally see and it's somewhat tough to argue with.

Though I feel different about no drop stuff or epic pieces.

But NBG is something a group should determine before you start killing.

NBG is fine when everyone is for it, but it's just an arbitrary loot system at the base. It's not like you "need" the item more than a guy who sells it in EC then "needs" the pp to buy an upgrade ... for some reason a lot of people just think cutting out the middle step makes them holier-than-thou.

Chanters especially have no reason to complain about missing out on loot. You COULD solo disco 1 at 55, after all, though it would be very difficult.

In all seriousness though it's pretty shitty to actually need something and not be able to go and camp it due to the whole 'we greed everything' mentality on the server. I understand it, especially with large ticket items. If I won a SBC I may not even have a melee class, but I would probably make an alt just so I could use it.

Fun fact: When I was in that same camp as a 53? enchanter, the robe dropped and the dude who won messaged me saying he'd give me the robe if I'd give him my robe. We swapped garments and I've been rocking that sweet sweet bonecaster digs since. I think I had a siren scale robe? Not really sure, i'm all about the aesthetics.
