lol on forums, angry in game. It's really hard to give you credit here when there were 5 people with our tag at the spires waiting for a port, then you take an invite from 2 untagged people and proceed to port. You've found an appropriate guild for you capacity at the game, as this thread will dictate.

/facepalm Let's recap the events from about the time your guildtag was first seen, roughly a month ago (give or take). Several guilds, many who have been raiding for literally years on P99, were entangled in a hopeless mess vying for a few scraps of contested mobs like a starving army surrounding the shavings of a Christmas turkey. Much like in the wild, it was a dog-eat-dog situation, where the weakest got nothing, and the strongest took nearly everything except the few scraps that were left behind as they ravaged through whatever they found within minutes, often using questionable, unpopular methods including poopsocking, camping in alt armies while another guild is setting up to engage, training each other out, DA engaging... the list goes on. This of course leads to endless petitions for interventions to "judge" who was entitled to engage, creating unreasonable strain on customer service. Rogean gets fed up with the drain on his customer service resources, and in one fell swoop raid bans the one guild responsible for a majority of these complaints, and calls on the rest of the raiding guilds to work something out amongst themselves or else Velious will be released without raid content. Taking this warning very seriously, a massive effort of inter-guild cooperation that has never before been seen on Project 1999 begins, and at the same time we see a simulated server repop while TMO is raid banned where for the first time in many player's memories, several guilds successfully engage and kill contested raid content through cooperative, pre-agreed rotation negotiations. TMO disbands, and guilds start to discuss who will take their Plane of Sky rotation slot (a system that has been in effect successfully for a very, very long time). TMO refugees re-form their guild, defend their claim to the Plane of Sky rotation, and enter the raid agreement discussions with strong opposition to what agreements had been made up until this point. Server administration places a server-wide raid ban until all raiding guilds can come to an agreement. Guilds involved in this agreement continue discussions using a variety of communication channels including this forum, in-game tells, voice communication channels and more. They continue to try and invite any guild with potential intent to raid, including Dolojoramamama (sorry can never hope to spell it). Dolojoramamama (or whatever) continues to deflect all attempts to enter the negotiations. Sirken and Derubel arrange a date for all guild representatives to meet and discuss the agreement. Guilds and representatives attend and ultimately a decision is made by Sirken and Derubel outlining the current Raiding Ruleset. T2 guilds decide to continue with the cooperative rotation agreements as experienced during the TMO ban, in an effort to improve raiding conditions for all guilds that intend to experience raid content. Again, Dolojoramamama (?sp) declines to participate. And here we are. Hopefully this sheds some light on how we got to where we are, and why. We want to keep Rogean happy. We want to keep the support staff happy. They are the reason why we get to play here and stressing them out will not be a good thing. This is why T2 guilds are being cooperative. It has nothing to do with "spirit of competition"... it has everything to do with establishing a more drama-free raiding experience until we all get more raid content when Velious comes out. Questions? Seriously, being defiant at this point is just silly. To most who have been following the threads on this over the past issue it is pretty obvious why your behaviour has been, in a word, mind-blowing. Now, granted you guys are new to the raid scene and as such may not have been aware of these historical issues, but now you are (provided you read this post, which is quite possible considering the development of this thread). Good luck, and hope you agree with the rest of the T2 raid force on the importance of getting along for the health of the server from the perspectives of the players, and the server admins.
