a causal player going 1-20 makes enough plat to buy things like Yak clubs, jade maces, snare whips, and all sorts of goodies are in the 1-2k range. You would only have to farm for months to get a Fungi Tunic or a 41% haste items. And those items are not medicore. A fungi or haste item can take a lowbie and get them thru many ruff spots.

Tbh, you'd only farm enough for a fungi if you were pet class or pure caster at lvl 50+.

80k isn't easy to come by for a warrior, paladin, rogue let's say.

You are right, RNF is fun, because everyone thinks their information or shitty playstyle is better and more fun than everyone else's.

how about all the folks stuck 90% the way through their fucking epic quests with no God damn choice but to buy their epics because a bunch of booger eating turd's parents never taught them how to fucking share their toys, how many months is that going to take for a lonely upper 40's guy to farm the plat to do that with no help or cheating?

The game is Ever"quest", for some of us a huge goal is to actually complete our epic Quest.

Some of you don't understand the EQ creator vision. They never intended the class epics to be obtained by everyone. Enjoy your tantrum. Enough trak guts and Vinny staves don't drop in 2 years to supply every mage/bard with an epic. Maybe you can figure that out.
