I mean I look at the shit kids are doing nowadays with even gay shit like Guitar Hero, like the APMS these asian kids can put out.

And people talk about others out of like a pool of 200 people about who's better at pressing a button or two and following people.

Jousting may be a little more involved but really, let's be honest here.

have to agree, this game has a tiny amount of variables for all this "skill" talk.

Jousting, positioning, and knowing when to pell or when to nuke is about all there's to it.

Horrible thread.

RTS seems to be build order and APM yeah, not a big fan - I enjoyed early SC when it was kinda new age fast pace RTS and it was mostly noobs.

Kinda sorta. Still have to know what to do, react to your enemy n such. Can't just use the same build for anything and everything

True, I wasn't trying to claim to know everything about it. Just watched some youtube videos and people have like set strats of exactly what to build and when, exact positioning of buildings for defense etc.

This was all SC1 mind you, maybe it's different, but I imagine people have multiple strategies and counters.

Oh not saying that you did know all lol but sc1 was more apm heavy thus why players like Flash did amazing, he didnt need control groups to keep all his shit Rollin. Sc2 is more cut n paste and the balance has been pretty terrible since HoTS, Zerg/Terran get patched monthly while Protoss can just sit there and do the same strats since beta 4 years ago with only a small mix of units. Love the game but David kim is a fuckin jew

sc2 is horrible

should have remade sc1 with a facelift

quake has the highest skill ceiling of any video game imo

Oh I agree they needed the same team that made bw with a lift and a few added features. I miss those clunky dragons that's cause toss to easily lose 12+ of their army supply if they didnt pay attention.

Quake is so fast paced its ridiculous, love that game though
