The leaderboard just displayed kills... was the best we could get at the time.

I think the leaderboard is good, but idiots like andis and tune got carried away because a naked 52 was worth the same as a palyer with a good kill death ratio. Leaderboard needs to come back, but with the necessary adjustments in the point system.

Nihilum were not the only ones griefing because of the leaderboard.

And having some noob ench rank top 10 killing lowbies in Guk, much like Chewie shows how illegitimate it actually was.

I still had fun with it for a bit, farming Nihi in Erudin for leaderboard pts with duelist, but at the end of the day, it didn't prove anything except Tune can roam around Kunark with the most powerful toon on the box shitting on fights that he shouldn't have even bothered with, because of it.

Either way, we should move away from FPS type EQ, which is exactly what leaderboard supports - going for kills for no reason other than for imaginary points, killing people who don't deserve it, are naked, or AFK to accomplish this.

I was against it from the beginning.
