TMO has enabled more members of this server to get gear than all of the other guilds on the server combined. We are a Norrathian treasure to behold and cherish.

I am awaiting all of your apologies.

I know and agree that a lot of this content is probably not needed by TMO. But "need" is relative. Does TMO need bladestoppers? yes. Does TMO need res sticks? Yes. Does TMO need Puppet Strings? Yes. etc etc etc. What do we not need? Probably Sev/Tal/Gore. I could see those going on some sort of quasi rotation. Compete for 1 spawn, signs ups for the 2nd. Something along those lines would work.

As it stands, other guilds try to step up and compete, and are quite successful at it. This competition drives TMO to compete, because it is what the server and guild were built on.

Kunark is old, yes some content can be shared because it is not needed. This is never brought up by the GMs - so TMO continues to operate under the true competition spirit.
I don't dislike hearing this. I assume you are TMO because that's where all your posts point. I'd encourage you to help everyone else you are associated with see this as well. Some kind of communication between TMO and the rest of the server needs to open up or I can see Rogean and co. getting fed up with the community and shutting down the project.

It doesn't look like they(the GMs) are going to step in and say "look, this is how it's gonna be." More like, "look, you guys have driven us to say fuck it." Don't take the GMs hands off approach as approval to continue to act how you like. Take the initiative to work with people not so much unlike yourselves who want to experience content and gear up. Every 2nd and 3rd spawn being uncontested by you for most targets isn't unreasonable. You still get most of your pixels vs the rest of the server and we all get a bone too.

I think you are confusing Monopoly with Competition, or at least trying to...

Yes Tann, believe it or not, but this server was originally created with a classic mindset. Guilds originally stepped up to kill the content and then got knocked off by other more capable guilds. This process repeated itself a few times until TMO finally stepped up, and is apparently so good at this original classic experience that things had to change. This is obviously changing now because nobody can dethrone TMO. If FE was dominate right now, this discussion would probably not be had. The normal progression of one guild taking over would be continuing. But, they couldn't do it. So omg, lets change the rules, TMO op.

Hahhhhhhhahh. Omg, I'm a TMO member, and I have to agree, you win today's forum quest by a long margin. I was laughing my ass off the entire time. Well played sir.

That being said, all of those expecting a formal TMO apology, get real. This was a tiny subset of our guild that cheated. TMO collectively had nothing to do with this. These assholes cheated, got caught, deservingly got perma-banned, and are dragging our guild name through the mud right now. The guild overall had nothing to do with this cheating. If others were part of it, they too would be logged, caught, and banned. Though formerly trusted members are gone, we are glad the cheaters got caught.

I'm wondering, why are y'all expecting a formal apology? The officers did not know what was going on. If they were part of the scheme, they would have been banned too. The GMs have clear logs of the events that transpired, which is why these two individuals got caught, banned, and immediately fessed up within our own forums. I wish they would post a formal apology on these forums for you all to circle jerk around, but that is probably not going to happen. The members had no part in this and no clue what was going on. If they did, they too would have been banned (and yes, I think perma-bans for these people was the perfect choice of action from the GMs).

When FE/IB clearly trained at trak last week and received a 5 day suspension, I never saw a single formal apology from the FE/IB leadership. They cried and said "oooohh no, TMO did it first, it was justified". It was a single member of the guild that stepped out of line, and the entire guild got punished.

Our entire guild is getting punished right now with a two week suspension, and numerous accounts being banned due to misplaced trust. This is all from the actions of two members, not the collective guild. Do we deserve a suspension? In my opinion, probably. But I know the majority of you agree that the answer is: Hell yea!

You are probably right. The few that step out of line can hurt the entire guild, just like we see in training/raid interference incidents. But, please, give me a break. I'm not going to step up and apologize for Froovy being a cheater. That is his own prerogative, if he wants to go there.

The guild is not in the wrong, but we have been punished for the actions of our members accordingly. Give it a rest on the request for an apology.

You guys won't get an apology from TMO, because TMO no longer exists.

Hopefully the characters are tagged so they can't ever join another guild.

Almost sig worthy.

Seriously though this strange attitude you and other guildies display in this thread and others from the past is the main reason this whole server hates your guild.

You know I'm suprised more accounts should be banned. Remember that time aiaus/desmo were exploiting their ip exemptions to train guilds/avoid death? They were given a 3 day slap on the wrist despite all precedence pointinh towards a more serious punishment. These are just 2 examples of TMO getting away with shit while abusing the other players on p99.

Your guild's collective actions over the past 2 or so years has brought all this negativity back upon you full circle. Karma is a bitch, I guess.
