If you sit at Ragefire all day with no one else, if you make the call to arms, if you wait patiently for a proper FG clear, and if you try to manastone up real quick before making a pearl turn-in...

Best thing to do is have a tank camped out there if you are a cleric with a pearl. Spawn him and you have time before you have to engage him. IF it looks like you wont have what you need there before your time limit to engage is up. Simply let the the tank engage human form and you 2 kill it while the rest of your crew gets there. After Dragon form spawns you have another window of time to engage. Sucks that you have to use those windows sometimes but people will and have leapfrogged a lot on this mob.

I know damn good well and well that I should have just done the turn-in. We had more than what we needed obviously. We were just trying to take it easy and enjoy a quick fight. Next time, I'll just turn the damn thing in.
