But even the winner shouldn't just fuck over everyone else. Is it really that fun to be stronger and bigger than everyone else on the server? I don't think so. I enjoyed letting other guilds get stuff, it makes it more of a challenge. What challenge is bring 50 lvl 60s with Epics/BiS to fight 20-30 People in planar gear with a few epics? The answer is never. The state of the server is horrible. Its either join Nihilum to get gear or fight them, lose, then quit. If Nihilum would let others have any chance, the server would be a lot more fun for everyone. I'm happy I am not in Nihilum right now. Killing shit with double the numbers needed is retarded. It shows no skill, its only a zerg. I remember when we left trak up and Raze was saying, "Azrael won't be able to kill it anyway." Look what happened. Azrael killed trak with a scrub force. Most of them died but a few lived. Remember what happened after that? MASS PVP. The few weeks after that trak kill were some of the most fun times I had on the server. A lot of people in Nihilum got excited. We finally had some competition. People came back from retirement and we even had fun losing the PvP and some mobs. Letting others have attempts boosts morale for the whole server and creates a better PvP environment.

Leave a few mobs up so people can boost morale. Or put variance in for a month to try it. This server needs competition, not another blue guild.

PS

I would happily be against variance if you guys weren't such dicks over recruiting and steam rolling content you don't need.

I would say the onus is on you considering I already provided proof of a server that is not the way as you described EQ to be. You're the one claiming it was this way on 95% of servers, so please back up your claim.
And I say your example is the exception to the rule.

This is not a court of law, the onus is not on me to do anything other than provide information and let others to judge how they will.

Nihilum isn't the problem on the server...

It is others exceptions on the server. People need to come in and understand they won't be raiding raid mobs right now unless they join Nihilum. Once this is accepted then more middle tier guilds will form and grow with the population.

Look all it took was for HB to make red dawn with the idea of they were not going to compete but raid the planes and other small stuff. The population grew but a lot just based on that. We need more people to do this with more guilds.

This is exactly how blue works. if you don't join TMO you are not getting a raid mob unless you get really lucky.

I bet it is different because they still log on. You guys raid for 2 hours a week to put items on your 7th alts and then park them in character selection screen for 6 months.

i get being the best and most populous guild has its advantages.......but dont you guys want to have fun too?

like wtf........

no way this is fun for you....

As someone relatively new to this server and forums, what the fuck is wrong with this Elderan guy?

P.S. Tarew Marr had a rotation.

I thought it was 3 hours a week? Now it is 2 hours?

Nihilum raids an average of 25 hours a week currently.
