In addition you may have seen the "oops we poofed Dain again" video our server created. This was in response to a guild poofing Dain multiple times when it was their turn on the rotation to "prove themselves" worthy of being allowed onto it. Every time they got a chance to get on the rotation they poofed him and it became a running joke. Prexus mobs were initially rotated between two guilds and the rotations ballooned as more guilds became capable of tackling the content. Eventually all Kunark content sans VP was on rotation (but VP was never contested given that only a handful of keys were on the server during this time). Dain, Tormax, and most Velious mobs (sans ToV) entered the rotation as well. ToV was uncontested initially as only one guild was killing there. Even Vex Thal was rotated to some degree, and Vox and Nagafen were rotated amongst the smaller guilds for many years. In sum, yes rotations are classic and existed from simple systems to complex schemes involving voluminous rules and a near complete variety of raid targets.
