Please... I'm not trying to point fingers at BDA, but being completely honest here... that the leadership's best idea of how to compete. Petitioning to get other people raid suspended wasn't a thing until Amelinda started doing it religiously.

Pre-Amelinda there were hardly any raid suspensions, usually GMs just switched loot on the spot and then everything carried on like normal (or they did absolutely nothing).

IB and TMO didn't really want each other to get raid suspended (at least not at first), we just wanted the GMs to find a solution because we couldn't come up with one ourselves. I didn't notice people frapsing and sending in videos with propaganda in them until VD started submitting them (during Amelinda's reign). That's when it seemed people turned towards trying to get other guild's raid suspended with fraps.

That hurt TMO more than helped in the long run. There is a reason TMO got all those raid suspensions (well, the one Zeelot caused was legit).

That isn't to say no one else caught a ban from that... IB definitely got hit with a "I'm a mad woman who has to compete with a video game for my boyfriend's attention" ban. However, TMO landed more of those pissed off woman emotional ban things.

The one thing that always disgusted me most about Transcendence/DA/TMO/Uthgaard was their huge hardon for xzerion, about how since he was a guildleader he automatically must somehow be abusing his dev status even though he had limited access. If all you scumbags hadn't made deving for this server such a shitty and thankless job by making false accusations backed up by (ironically) Führer Uthgaard, the most power hungry psycho of a gm this server has ever seen, maybe Velious would be out by now.
