Ugh, god damn guys, really? People are honestly saying the exp bonus should be removed in a non trolling manner?
Obvious accident. It'll get put back in. I'm starting to realize that there is a huge segment of the population who plays on R99 who just want pure grief for people. It doesn't matter if it effects them or they have anything to gain they just want other people to suffer. It's a very depressing realization. I am glad my shoes do not have laces or I would be dangling from the ceiling. | ||

The population is a lot lower, and what players are active are typically already at or near the max level. EQ has always been top heavy in terms of level distribution, take an emu server that has been out 2+ years and it is far worse. Make it a classic/kunark only server and it gets even worse. People will quit over time, it's just a fact. Even the die hards will leave eventually. The only way to sustain the server would be to have new players coming in at the same/greater rate than the people leaving. It hurts everyone if the experience bonus is removed, even those people who had to walk uphill both ways in 30 feet of snow to level. It hurts the server. Population is on the rise. We have a second guild doing somewhat meaningful things for the first time in months. Things are trending positively and all the spiteful, asshole trolls want to do is ruin any progress made. And the whole attitude that you were a tough guy like back in the day because you leveled up with PVP exp loss or without a bonus just gets old. Stop pretending it was "classic" because it wasn't. I don't remember MQing in classic, or a wiki with detailed info on every mob in the game. Or literally a decade of build up knowledge on how to exploit mechanics. Everyone has had it easier than classic, so give that stupid argument up. | |||
