Your posts in this thread are coming off as some deranged fear-monger who has extreme difficulty separating his opinion from fact. I am not surprised really as this is your posting style in.... any.... thread.

Me and Alarti actually agree on everything that has nothing to do with this game, strangely.

Let me just leave you with one actual, real, point to raise the level of this discussion very slightly. It's quite easy to prove that governments will always favor businesses and special interest groups over 'the people'. Aside from the wealth of empirical evidence, you can make a simple logical argument starting from asymmetry of information and benefits.

If that isn't what you mean, then I'm not sure what you were getting at. Oh, I'm like Tri+racial at the very least. Guess I can't be racist either.

I never questioned your statement that government favors businesses and special interests over 'the people' - whatever the latter may mean. I am merely pointing out that your claims are very entry level - the real question is WHY does government favor particular groups in society over others. To even begin to provide any semblance of an answer to this question, you need to leave the realm of superficial arguments which seek to show one side is 'bad' and one side is 'good' and start talking about how contemporary society organizes and reproduces itself.

The way Obama implemented this universal healthcare had major problems that even his fellow democrats detected from the beginning. It destroys free market capitalism among the insurers and at the same time redistributes wealth to the poor and expedites the destruction of the middle class. This could have been done right. The single-payer option was proposed by many intelligent congressmen but Obama sought to make a few industry players BIG WINNERS.
