HOUSE!
I love that this was the first comment. I saw the title of the thread and clicked it intending to say the following:

I just got the complete series of House on DVD in a box set and am going to begin watching it all the way through!!!

I would suggest Lie to Me to EVERYONE too.. but be warned, it got canceled in season 3 >[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I can back this up. Main character is more relateable than house, but more importantly:
  • Actor was in Resevoir Dogs.
  • Scottish/British/Irish (I can't remember) accent.

Can't go wrong really.

The wife normally dictates what TV shows get watched "as they air". So the rotation right now is:

Walking Dead
Marvel: Agents of Shield
Scandal
The Goldbergs
American Horror Story: Coven
Big Bang Theory

Of those, I will watch Walking Dead as it airs, then resume watching Football. The rest are ok, I'll watch them on DVR if I get the time, but I dont make a special effort to do so. Scandal is just eye candy, I could watch Kerry Washington read the paper and be satisfied.

I control what TV shows we watch in series. Currently making our way through Cougar Town (surprisingly good, quick witted), and QI.

I also watch (for myself) Comic Book Men, Mythbusters, How It's Made, and That Metal Show.

Yes, I was actually weirded out that by the second season I felt like the characters were friends or something... Or like I knew them... I dunno. It definitely had something other shows lack, still love House though.

Definitely looking for more suggestions.
check out "Dracula" fairly new show only 3 episodes out so far. has lots of cool stuff in it, not your typical queer vampire show... basically Dracula gets revived to destroy an elite group of d-bags controlling the world's oil resources.. has some cool Nikola Tesla stuff in it would recommend 100%

hate to admit but i get a few lols from the michael j fox show

you bros need more clever suggestions everyone who has a tv has heard of the walking dead, big bang theory, breaking bad etc

Good shows are good. What can we say?

Plenty of the shows mentioned I have a passing interest in. I dig The League, but I usually wait until the end of its season before I watch them all. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is hilarious every time I see it, but I have seen nothing of the first two seasons so I dont feel like I can speak to it. I've not seen Eastbound and Down, but the actor from that show is in what I consider to be the greatest Youtube video ever.
