I dunno, its just better to throw a nuke in on every mob..and not a super awesome nuke when the mob is at 3% to get the killing hit. The best wizards get the mob to under 5% with their big nuke and let the melee folks finish it off [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
there's a difference between finishing a nuke on a near-dead mob and powering through 2-5 mobs at a time.

Personally I want wizards stunning every mob instead of nuking to help save the healer's mana. Save the burns and nukes for when you actually need to burn and nuke.

Though I'll never understand why people roll wizards and then want to group all the time, because it's so horribly inefficient.

Hard to argue it's more fun, since if you play like most people and just dump your mana on nukes and med for 3 minutes then it's no different from soloing minus the good exp.
