Does the 12th necro pet = 8th necro pet?

Are you saying you got your 12th level spell and summoned a pet that was equal to your 8th level pet?

You have to remember also that when you're at levels 4 and 8, your pet can be summoned at a higher or equal level to you. I believe at level 12 this stops and your pet will always be lower level than you and random on the level.

It gets a bit worse the level before you get your next pet upgrade. I know I've summoned about 3-4 pets before I finally got a blue one instead of Light Blue at these levels.
