You and Yours?
As in me? Right then, as always Jeremy, you wish to indict anyone and everything, against you for little reason, and with absolutely no recourse but to argue further. But that's fine with me as I've done a bit of volunteer work for mentally challenged young adults and children, and am happy to play ball as this is not all too unfamiliar a personality I've encountered.
I have never wanted to poopsock.
I have never wanted to train war.
I have never wanted to be nefarious and decietful.
I have never wanted to put my guild ahead of every other consideration.
I have never wanted to be part of a raid scene that reduces the server population and the enjoyment of others not in the 1%.
That's the basics. Without you being me, you would not know otherwise, so take it on face value that those are the fundamentals of my game playing.
That is what has been imposed on me, by this server's egocentric and maniacal mentality. You and yours, have made this to be. You and yours, continue to do so. Noone forces me to do the things I do, I do them voluntarily. But it still is not what I want. It is irrelevant who started this shit, whether it was IB or DA or Suprem, what matters now is how we handle it and hopefully prosper on the server.
I have asked for rotations, I have asked for less poopsocking, I have suggested many times for ways to end poopsocks and earn the rights to mobs, that can involve many people. I've spoken with plenty of TMO about having an OT hammer off to decide who gets a mob, rolling, etc. They fall on deaf ears, because you and yours, would rather poopsock for 95 of every 100 hours I do (sorry you don't have the fortitude to match me in that and let's not decieve the public, for every 50 hour session I do, I see the same 8-20 tmo rotating through for several hours at a time). Such has been the case for all of the servers kunark history, TMO has proven again and again that they want to win by passive play. TMO want to win by sitting on spawns and staring at walls. TMO wants to win by having huge raiding numbers, and a huge abundance of excess raid alts parked across the world.
Not to say I dont endorse your strategy, it seems to work at the moment and has forced ours and every other hand in. Good work, but when that strategy can be avoided for the saving of thousands of hours of eachothers time with a few moments of chance and TMO decides not, I think your hand is shown. When that attitude spills out of raid time and in to forums, 6man groups, farming loot, denying up and coming guilds from epics to suit 2-3man coffers; you show your hand.
We come to the precipice of the argument from my end though, and you and yours fault. You have forced me, and mine, all in. I have nothing to lose. I would never put my opposition in that position personally. But that's out of humanitarian goodwill, rather than strategic advantage. You see, this is a game, and without opposition, sharing and good will, there is no reason for anyone else to play here.
But I have nothing to lose, so I'll do what's needed to ensure I get my cut. IB hire me for the price of drunken abuse and my invigorating effect on our female members (and some male members members). So I'll earn that share, and if I go to far, you can be sure to know that I'll be the first proponent of rotations and giving back to the community, as I always have been.
Everything TMO does, I have done before you, faster than you, with less people than you* (mostly). Ride my coat tails, follow my lead, and remember your domination when your opposition left the server, because frankly it seemed like me and mine, wanted friendliness, respect, progression and scheduled raids. We voted with our feet.
So Jeremy no matter how much you think you know about me and mine, you surely are as short sighted as suspected, to brand and label me despite having perhaps two conversations ever. I suspect the only thing that truly separates us is my goodwill, charitable nature, openness to help and teach, guild name, and the fact I remember this is a game, so unlike TMO I wont go chasing after your real life info, soliciting GM's with payments; and given an opportunity I dis-endorse anything of the sort from my side. Because its a game, and I want a healthy population here and less CSR intervention.
And the yours part?
I dont speak for IB, but if I had to guess I reckon we're in for a bloodbath, because people like me dont give up until people like you are crying in the fetal position at level 58 outside KC.
