Just because I live in Virginia, doesn't make me a redneck. In fact I don't even hunt or own a truck or even like country music. The only teaching we have are the basic southern hospitality - and on hot summers we make the best damn sweet tea (My mother leaves it out in the sun to really give it a boost in flavor). Heritage and family is a way of the south, we say yes sir and yes ma'am down here, and we always hold the doors for our elderly. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped on the side of the road to give a man or woman a jump start - or to help them change a tire, or take them to the gas station to get a few gallons in gas when they ran out.

I work with computers, websites, data entry, merchandising. Although I'm also skilled in carpentry, masonry, roof repair (standard, metal, or tin). I'm currently teaching myself electrician work as well as basic soldering (I have several headsets I'm trying to repair from the past years), my brother is teaching me how to run fiber optic cable and how to splice it. I even have a old 94' jeep Cherokee sport that I'm replacing floor panels with galvanized metal, I've been removing the rust that has grown over the years, I'm not very confident in welding but I'm learning. One day I'll have a garage with every tool I need to get a job done. Think of Clint Eastwood in Grand Torino and his garage, that's what I'm aiming for.

If all this makes me a redneck, well then I sure as hell can't complain. What have you learned in your life buddy?
