Too bad that most of the time we can't actually have a decent discussion about this anywhere, or even slightly oppose the lefties without being attacked or called racist, or having some asshole make a "gawd" comment (hi Kagatob) which of course makes anyone who is religious an idiot by default. I personally am not but I think it's fucked up to disrespect other people's beliefs just because they aren't your own. And those types are always such smug assholes too. Pisses me off. well said. brand has some quirky ideas that sound good, but the enactment of them isn't very feasible in the US. we've been a corporate guided representational republic since the beginning, and that's not going to stop anytime soon. and anyone who wants a utopia needs to check up how a monoculture disables cultural evolution.
