Got that eve feeling yesterday as i joined a clan and had to run through some enemy territory to get to my "0.0 space" city

Its grindy but what MMO isnt, and occured to me recently that "questing" is alot more open ended than some other MMOs like FF

Lots of feats from which u get XP are like kill 900 mobs. Theres alot like them. So that means that basically at any time you can join a group of guildies and not having to worry about being in the wrong part of the quest

Only thing i notice is worst to me than 1.0 is that the map is smallerish

I sure dont miss going against people who macro 24-7 and could be maxed in every class and skill in the game

-Combat has been dumbed down so that a blind person with 1 hand can be competitive.
-Resources are no longer valuable, you get essence from harvesting/killing anything.
-Safe Zones.......
-1/4 of the content promised was available at launch (launch happened 4 months after their planned date).
-Top tier clans played for about 3 weeks then quit cause they understood how shitty the game was.
-If you played at launch you could sit down and "Rest" and out-heal someone who was getting critical hits on you from behind aka "Restfall."
-Skill ceiling is incredibly low so elite players have difficulty winning outnumbered (in original Darkfall you could mow down noobs like nobodies business if you were good).
-I could go on and on... Game is trash... Company is trash... Should go play HoN instead.

so its like auto attacking melee's or wizards in EQ ? not sure if serious or dum but a blind person with 1 hand can win here

Dont get whats so different from DF1 skillwise, you mean the way it plays and hitboxes and shit?

I do have my gripes with the game, like its fucking lame that you can get every herb in the game from some magical bush that grows carrots and cottons and blueberries.

Also hate lightning towers, should be guards instead

But with sandbox slim pickings, this is good enough to keep me entertained for now

Yeah you cant beleive what aventurine says, so basically if youre happy with what the game is right now, and if they add anything else its just icing on cake, game is fine.

I didnt think game was worth it to keep subbed in the past, but now with boats and markets, its good enough for me to mess around with.
