Negotiated and passed behind closed doors without any input from the other party, and passed in a state that no one, including the bill's sponsors, could tell you what was in it or how it would be implemented.

Just sayin'.
There was input from both sides, that's why there's no public option among other things. It was passed federally in both the Senate and House (though the bill had to be altered to meet the demands of Republicans, so not sure where you no input crap comes from), though several states have resolved to not allow medicaid expansion. It is pretty obvious how it is implemented, as it has already begun.

God damn, if I ever have kids I will send them to a K-12 FOX NEWS school. I'll never have that awkward moment when you feel like your kid is becoming smarter then you.

I have a feeling you would experience that moment regardless if they went to school or not. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I have a feeling if you sat down too fast at your computer you'd break your own neck. That seems to go for most of the people on here when it comes to political knowledge/comprehension.

Haha. FYI I hold a Political Science Degree and work in policy and procedure for my state legislature. Granted it is not Washington, but I know several of the Congressmen and women for our Federal government (Most come from...drum roll please...the state legislatures) and have meet 3 presidents and worked under 3 Governors over 7 General Assemblies. What are you qualifications? Oh let me guess, you read MSNBC and CNN and parrot what you read on message boards.

Oh are we dropping credentials now? I have a Master's in International Relations from the 19th ranked university in the world, with the 5th-16th highest ranked program for that degree (depending on who is doing the ranking). I have other postgraduate degrees but they have less direct relevance.

I am not going to state where I work/have worked specifically, but one was a large policy think tank, as well as having done consulting for investments in emerging markets.

Not that you have to have a degree at all to understand our political and healthcare systems.

If you really want to drop some credentials, you should point out how you have such an amazing education and yet didn't know such simple facts like LBJ starting a set of programs referred to as the War on Poverty.

The fact that you have all these credentials is actually rather embarrassing, given the level of ignorance you have displayed in the past month or so.

You're a fucking idiot, all I have to say in response to this post, and the majority of your other posts.

Did you really just brag about having a social science degree? I mean cool story but liberal arts degrees are hardly brag worthy . Let me guess do you also have a English literature degree from brown?

I am not bragging; I was informing the OP that not everyone was ignorant when it comes to Politics. And feel free to bash Liberal Arts Degrees all you want. It has afforded me many luxuries in life both professionally and financially that many people will never get to experience.
