Default Classic Spell Particles

I've noticed that the low level spells have much more particles than I remember back in the classic days of EQ. I also remember that the particle count would increment after level 20 and then again at 40(?)

Anyway, my question: Is there a way to bring back that low particle display look on the low level spells in p1999?

It's not complete, but it's better than without.

I saw that thread and was hoping it would do what I described. However, after installing it, I did not see a difference in the particle effects.

If you run the EQemu launcher to start the game, the automatic patcher will overwrite the spell files. You'll have to use the "bypass EQemu" shortcut in your EQ Start menu directory after applying the particle fix.

After using the bypass method, it looks like its working, but not on healing effects/particles nor strike cleric spells.

I'm currently using this. 90% better than without.
