friend of mine stayed up for 68 hours camping for the damn glowing black stone. I never nerded out that hard back then.

lol damn now that's crazy....i wish i could meet your friend IRL, anyone who has that much devotion to a video game is A+ material

my personal longest is 19 straight hours to get a rubicite bp back in 1999 the last weekend before it got removed from the game..

In Vanilla WoW there was some brilliant chromatic carapace thng off the Warlord in UBRS. Supposedly 1/1,000,000 chance to drop, for Breastplate of the Chromatic BP.

Never intentionally farmed that, but when it drops, the group gets real quiet, and the greedy ninja rolls start the party. Hope you brought friends...

I once camped the Avatar of Fear in Cazic Thule for 4 days for the Mithril Two-Handed Sword. Yeah, you read it right....

Yellow fang earring. Fuck that, never ever again. Rog sk shaman 3 box. About 3 weeks 12-18hrs a day with a few random days off in middle.
