People still play Diablo 3?
I went to check if I still had it installed, apparently I didn't even both downloading it again after formatting last year. Wish I had jumped on the band wagon and gotten a refund when the ire was still going after launch.

Isometric games suck. That being said, I did buy the game and did make the cost of the game and a little extra off the RMAH back while it was around. Funny, I remember telling people that the game felt like a beta when it first released. Turns out it was a beta, just one you weren't told about and had to pay to be a part of. I still hate isometric click to move games.

D3 was a shit sandwich, WoW revenues continue to decline, SC2 will always be in the shadow of LoL, and their upcoming shooter games are projected to be underwhelming.

It's not 2003 anymore and Blizzard needs to realize the consumer has a lot more choices these days. Time to start innovating better games and less focus on profits or be forever a mediocre company.
Funny, LoL is in the shadow of Dota2

I love click to move games. I probably played Diablo 2 for 4 years (longer than I played EQ) because it was so fun and replayable. Lord of Destruction was the best expansion ever made for a computer game.

You dumb, I made more off the RMAH than the game costs. Somewhere around $500+ within the first few months.

Game is much more fun now than it was then too. Removal of the AH houses and then implementing "Loot 2.0" will bring back the fun, not to mention they will add the expansion at the same time.

This game has always been garbage, the only positive thing about it was botting and selling the gold/loot to 12 year-olds who stole their mother's credit card number

With 5.4, I actually enjoy where they're going with WoW, pretty enjoyable.

Haven't played D3 though, no real want to either.

Best idea I ever read, I forget where..

was given paragon xp for playing Diablo 2.

Getting rid of the AH seems to make people think they will be showered in perfect Mempo's in loot 2.0...

Try rolling Hellfire rings for a preview of how your dropped legendaries will be... but without the annoying chance to get str/int on a dex craft.

Not to mention, they are going to add *tons* of new annoying and useless suffixes to clog up your rolls.

I think the AH should go away, sure, but the drop system should be like Diablo2.

Legendaries should be rarer than what they are now, but they don't have chances to roll absolutely retarded shit that makes them useless to offset that.

Made 800 or so the first time I left, little less than 300 the second time, bought back in with 150 of that 300 when I just came back for the paragon grind to 100. Link should illustrate how ridiculous you can gear up compared to what that set was worth before (thousands I'm sure if I bought this shortly after dropping the "good legendaries" patch).

I don't think people realize that they aren't going with the console style loot that showers you with 5 sick legendaries per act and, that to truly get the gear they crave, they will be playing as much as the people with multiple paragon 100s that knew how to actually play the auction house, hunt for deals, sell entire suits and rebuy to shift their stats for maximum dps/ehp.

Gold will still be valuable for rerolling stats on items, crafting gems (cost me fucking godly amounts to make my marquise gems). My question is: will my current gear carry me thru the first play through of the new act and at least into speed clearing mp1/2 on the new inferno? Actually.. probably. There's a run to ditch all your gear right now, but also realize your chance to get a 2million gold (easy) good legendary that fits a build you want is going away without intense farming until one drops (at least it wont be dex/str/int/no socket when it does hopefully).
