Honey oil while similar has a distinct production process but they all start the same, chemically stripping the trichome away from the plant material. Imo its the only way to go when talking about thc consumption. Just a dab will do ya !

Back on topic; Esto you should try to avoid the pitfall of dosing->waiting->dosing->waiting->etc. when taking hallucinogens. While a lot of drugs you can gauge an appropriate dosage through that method. In my experiences that method yields a moderate to low buzz/trip (depending on initial dosage) that lasts longer but gets no more intense than the initial dosage. (I.E. you are just extending the period without regard to the amplitude.) It's best to dose all at once and just go with it; after the trip you can analyze your experience and zero in on an appropriate dose. Don't let these guys tell you an 2g->1/8th will do it for anyone. Everyone is different, and honestly I've never known anyone who gets off on 2-3.5g. Next time eat 7g and just wait it out, eating second and third helpings is just a waste.
