It was a real question. Are they having issues or is it just the content placement is going really really really slow.

I always appreciate when a developer/programmer does work for free that I benefit from of course. But as one myself sometimes we get tunnel vision or stuck and wont ask for help or just get burned out and ignore things for months. I just wondering the real reason.

Ok then make your own server with classic Velious. Problem solved. A lot of people who came to this project later on have expressed interest in a new server, if you make something close to being as classic as P99 I'm sure you would have a population for it.

Well I think your measure of the scale of Velious depends a lot on how precisely you want it to match live. I mean there is already a version of Velious on PEQ:TGC, so if Nilbog really wanted he have released that three years ago. Nilbog however is a perfectionist who hates the compass ;D

Elderan, IIRC you are some kind of a software developer. Why don't you try and and volunteer a bit? IMO P1999 is in desperate need of some coding fixes more than anything. Specifically, I have a laundry list of bugs here:

This server basically exists only to do classic, kunark, and velious. No one who plays on here is here because they want constant, new content. People who quit p99 because they want constant, new content will just be leaving eventually anyway.

Also, constant, new content is what made the people on this server give up on live EQ sooner or later.
