Ooc chases people away from the server, but without a zone like EC (tunnel) to trade and get ports from and such, it would just hurt the server.

On live curse words were alil more serious because children could be playing, but were all adults here.

On live no one was ever banned for foul language, it was a suspension offense at worst(unless it was racial slurs). Trust me I was prolly the worst offender of all time and I'm very familiar with live punishments for chat offenses.

On a server with low pop and zones with few people ooc is needed to communicate and make sales. It would be much better for the server if we didn't bog down GM's with silly ooc nonsense and let them deal with truly important issues.

As an adult you should have learned that words only have power if you give them power and becoming offended by someone you could simply /ignore is a true sign of immaturity.

you guys got to keep in mind, that cursing on live was punishable because there was legit 8 year olds playing back then, i think the youngest person here playing is cwall at like 20 or something like tht, the majority of us in our late 20s to late 30s.

Honestly if ooc is what causes u not to play here, you probably arn't red material.

seriously, newbies should thank ooc, if they don't like what they see, they quit. Instead of working their way up to 15-25 and get griefed and quit. Atleast they get a warning for whats to come.

You know how much arm twisting it took to get global ooc. It is capped at level 10. You have an ignore feature and option to turn ooc off on your own. We are under 200 pop. Ooc non global would Kill the servers community. It is so tiny as is. I get nearly 75% can just /guild chat in nihilum, but for the rest of us , well we can't. This is the dumbest poll and should be considered offensive
