Sarnak Earring of Station - which zone?

I camped it once but not on p99. Sarnak fort. Took a few hours...i remember walking away thinking it was a breeze.

Btw it was years ago but i think it was an adherent that dropped it

I once saw 4 in a 26 hour period 2 of which I got for my monk. All were from adherents in Lake of Ill Omen. If you can get a solid group you can easily do 20-30 at the fort on the ledge and have a good chance of earrings and other loot. If I was a newb melee looking for a good cash spot and a chance for lasting gear cant think of a better spot. If you are grinding earrings and stuff at higher levels venture farther into the fort to the chancellors area, spawns are denser in there. With rumors that they drop from things other than adherents I'd just mow down everything. This leaves the entrance and ledge free for the poor newbs who can't venture farther into the fort.

I have been swarm kiting in BW for the last ten or so levels and have probably killed a thousand or so sarnaks of every type. I have not seen one drop. In all fairness, I have killed a few hundred giants and only gotten one forest loop, so it could be just my luck.

Rare stuff. Probably as rare as bracer of the hidden if not more. While farming bracers for several characters early on in kunark, I saw only 1 earring.

I went to BW and killed zealots and extremists specifically for an earring drop. I have never seen one drop after many levels of farming them. I don't think they are on the loot table. Not only because of my experience but because I would ask players I saw in the zone alot if they ever saw one and none of them ever did.

leveled my bard from 51-60 in burning woods, about 1 in every 6 mobs i killed was a sarnak caster. not sure of the total amount killed, but enough to bring me from 'ready to attack' to 'kindly' in cabilis, and never got an earring.

same goes for the several bards i've kited with there. i think it's safe to assume they don't drop in BW

Just got 2 earrings in about 3 hours in Ill Omen. Was just non-stop clearing all the mobs that spawned in Chancellor of Di`Zok room. Maybe just luck, but there is a high concentration of Adherents in that room so seemed like the best place; worked out nice.
