When I made my poll I noticed that at certain times of day the amount of users on the forums fluctuates quickly. You should bump thread when you notice a lot of people viewing server.chat (70 to 100 ppl) and you will notice that more people see it and will vote/post.


I find that in general most of p99 doesn't frequent the forums while they play while those who do are mostly higher end players who probably have nothing better to do between dragon spawns. Its hard to tell what time of day is best but I found that early morning and late evening hours are when forums are most active. The best time to get lots of votes is when server goes down. I would bump my thread as soon as it goes down and get 300 to 500 views on my poll thread.


So in otherwords if you want an active poll thread I found that finding the times when forums are buzzing and bumping your thread to the top helps a lot.
