The problem with anything 'quirky' is that it won't draw enough players. Honestly if P99 had a combined population of 3000+ players at peak I think more thought would be given to branching out and doing things like this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I like the idea of it, I have engaged in some roleplay and do enjoy it... particularly if a new player shows up and you offer them a good vs evil choice. I've mentioned this in past posts but was camping Felwithe guards on my iksar necro and offered a new high elf the opportunity to either loot a dead guard and pledge allegiance to Cazic Thule (gaining a 20pp sword and plenty of cash for spells), or following a false prophet...
