Anyone had a look in lately? Still terrible?

It's a Velious box for Divinity and Blades of Wrath at this point. Except Blades of Wrath is finally absorbing Divinity. So really it's just 1 big guild on the server and a few casual guildless folks.

Armor gems are still not dropping enough and are non-existent in areas that they should be plentiful. Nobody does Thurg quests because of this. Certain encounters are severely under-powered such as Zlandicar. I don't think he has AoE'd a single time for any Blades of Wrath kills. Divinity has claimed he casts them occasionally but I've never seen one.

Despite the name "The Sleeper", this server doesn't even HAVE the zone Sleepers implemented. It is simply not there.

I mean.. take it for what it is and have fun if Velious is your thing and you can make raids with BoW. They're a pretty good group of people. Shoot Hiing a tell if he's on about joining. He's leader atm and he's a pretty good guy.

If you're into farming ToV I know they're hitting up HoT a bit for armor. They also farm Idol / Vindi, Zlandi, Klandi, Kunark Dragons including Trak and some other shit I can't think of. However, I wouldn't recommend attempting to play here any more if you're a casual gamer looking for lots of dungeon grinds. There is nobody below level 50 to play with a majority of the time.

The downz admin (Kegz) running the show over there is reason enough for me to never touch it. The dude is straight up throwing temper tantrums on the rerolled forums. Spamming every damn thread there with crap about how amazing his server is.

Top that with everything else that is wrong with the server..... pass.

supposedly Kegz said in Mumble that Velious armor quest gems have a 0.023% drop rate. that's roughly one in every 4000 kills.

Server actually had alot if promise.

There dev team is just fucking dumb.

I mean, I openly 4 box on that server and some rl friends of mine would blatantly hack the game.

Should never hold high hopes for something that is being run by a known troll / drama queen / idiot.

Kind of like how no one will give two craps if Tyen ever opens browser EQ or whatever he used to blab on about.

It never had any promise, after a day playing on there it was clear it was a pos. Yet for whatever reason you were the biggest white knight on that server, calling everyone who complained about the server noobs...
