On a server where there's about 1000 players, I would imagine that reputation has some value.

I'm new to project 1999 but if it is anything like Xegony back in the day, a spoiled reputation resulted in reduced opportunity overall.

If I'm right, then forget asking the devs to do something about it because the power lies with the player, and it starts with /ignore.

The farmers are not the only ones to blame here, it is also the people willing to pay instead of play.

Making platinum IS playing the game. So is putting in the (perhaps ridiculous) amount of effort required to get a drop/epic/whatever directly. It sounds like you aren't willing to do either of those things though. It sounds like you're part of Generation Entitlement. I don't think you need to kill MQ per say, but limit MQ's to 46+. Most of the purchases are for lvl 1 alts anywyz
