Since people are talking about other EQEMU servers, gonna throw this one in too.

The GM's intention was to create a server hard enough to make people realize how much the MMO has made people only want the easy road now. EXP is classic, max level is 50 and i have almost 3 days /played and only level 34. Dying also makes you lose classic amount of XP, aka it sucks. Server allows boxing, but literally no one does. We have a solid core of 6-10 people, having to make 2 groups of a couple of occasions.

Best part is, he custom made every quest/zone, and he's told us that there are zones we haven't even found yet, and quests we haven't even found out about yet. Literally is amazing to not know what the hell to do. You get insta-level 13 basically and all skills set to 50, which he says is to show how easy games are. Then once you get out of PoK, real XP kicks in and started off in Guild Lobby with no direction what so ever, have to hail everyone to figure out quests (NPC's dont even have the [say this]) so there have been tons of NPC's ive sat and tried to get to talk for like 5 minutes.

Only real problem is the population, so many people log on and /ooc OMG XP SO SLOW and quit within 15 minutes, but it's getting bigger every day pretty much. Really suggest checking it out.
