Wow wasn't even fun to me, even the pvp was shitty.
Rather play games designed for pvp like shooters or RTS games.
Instances ruin the classic MMO feel for me, makes the world feel small.
I would prefer huge sprawling dungeons with traps and mazes and tons of other players around to socialize with. Why would I play an MMORPG to sit in an instanced dungeon by myself or a limited amount of people clearing it once and then leave?

And instanced raids? Pls I'm gonna puke.

And that was with Shaman healer during season 3 (if you know which season it was ... needless to say there aren't many Shamans who go that [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]).

Still think instances and cartoonish graphics for EqNext would totally suck. And the attacks feel like playing a console fighting game, nothing close to some tough and epic fight [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But I'll give it to EqNext, to at least developing what seems quite a powerful game engine. Changes from their old games.

Would like instances. After quitting eqlive in 06 and playing through eq2/wow then back to p99 i don't know why anyone would not want instances.

So many doucheholes doing nothing but griefing, not fun....

wasn't impressed with anything i saw in the trailer, games are changing but im still in 99.

Some people like competition and are good enough or play with enough to counter any griefing. Instances are ok though as long as there are still some competitive content.

GW2 has everything I wanted in an MMO and I still quit playing it after 4 months.

I mean it has easy story mode dungeons for the masses and harder explorable mode for the more hardcore gamers. It has awesome jumping puzzles, fun achievements, exciting world vs world vs world Pvp with siege. Dynamic events. Huge dragon fights. Personal story.

I guess modern MMOs just suck.
