This is an unheard of length of time for a gaming server to be down, feels like im dying slowly each second that passes and all I do is pray to my God which happens to be Rogean in this case to let the drought pass and flood the lands with EverCrack once again.

I wouldn't try to quantify what is "ok" in regards to defending the staff from a minority of rude, self-entitled players. Nah, I had it right. A "customer" implies that the person is entitled to a service that they are buying. A consumer implies nothing. I put "customer" in quotations to insinuate sarcasm.

#1) They don't need you to defend them.
#2) It is a forum rule, I didn't make it. You don't go around calling people dickheads or anything else except in the forum section designated for exactly that.

#1) I'm expressing my opinion on those particular people complaining in the thread, which also happens to be in defense of the staff.

#2) I didn't call anyone a "dickhead" specifically. I generalized that people complaining about a free service (akin to a charity) are dickheads as they put us all at risk of losing something that we enjoy.

#3) Just as you said the staff "don't need [me] to defend them" - neither do they need you to pretend to be the forum hall-monitor.
