One of the big differences in wine quality is the ability to drink a bottle and not hate yourself in the morning. That Winking Owl Naez posted is from Aldi and it's $2.89 a bottle. And it's the sweetest varietal. That's a really rough morning.

Cognac is good.

Here is something on which you and I can agree. I like cognac straight up, on the rocks, with water, or made into a manhattan with good vermouth. Aside from anything else I may or may not have said or thought about you in the past, I now consider you a gentleman, a scholar, a man of good looks, and a fine judge of good liquor.
