Default Cant log in (Permafrost Keep)

I am able to log in on any other character than my main, who is currently located in Permafrost Keep. If I try to log onto him the screen acts like its logging in then the program just stops responding...

Nothing has changed for me, and I have tried on multiple computers... Also this character uses the same UI as other characters I can log in on, the only thing I can think of is there is a problem with the zone.

Confirmed I cannot zone into Permafrost on any other character as well, I was kicked to login screen upon trying to zone in from another toon.

I'm presently in perma with no problems - haven't tried to log out or log in as I don't want to get trapped, but the zone is up currently.

I'm having the exact same problem as the OP.

Just tried zoning into Permafrost and my client locked up while zoning. Now, my main character is in Perma according to the login screen but everytime I try logging in on that toon the client freezes up.

As if the lag deal wasn't bad enough. Help?

Add me to the people having the same problem.

I finally got in after 25 minutes and 5 attempts. Lagged like hell, I immediately gates (which took 10 minutes).

Default Same issue in multiple other zones at other times

This seems to be a chronic problem with alot of people in various zones (although some MUCH more than others). Perma has always given people I know lag issues but as far as I can tell all of these lag issues seem to be related if not the same thing.

Description: On zoning you take forever (generally so long most people give up and assume the client is frozen and just quit it and try to relog in). When you do finally get in sometimes you end up with a weird lag where every action you do is delayed for 30 seconds or more (sometimes as much as 10mins). Assuming you can make it to a zone line, if you zone (which can take just as long as zoning in) you will be fixed and fine.

Now whether or not this is on our end or serverside I want to know how to fix it? If you need help duplicating this just let me know and we can set up a VPN to my comp and try seeing if that will allow it to be duplicated.

This is happening to me as we speak. I tried the wineq lite thing, tried the affinity thing, rebooted, so on and so forth and every other thing I've seen on the forums. Every time I try to log onto my main character, the game freezes on the character select, and about a minute or three later it kicks me back to the log-in screen. I can log into every one of my other characters fine.

It also looks like it happened to everyone in my group. None of them are online now. I thought it was just me but apparently not.
