It's a relief that our corrupt fucking media the racists blacks who support martin for the color of his skin and all the race baiters like Jesse Jackson didn't get there way. Thank god. You guys elect bush twice ( well elect is a strong word ) and i say you guys because i live in canada its not a race thing, and you want to talk about obama being a dolt ? please explain your reasoning for him being a dolt because he is not chasing around imaginary weapons of mass destruction so they can oppress a people and take their oil ? I lived in Sanford for about four years. I worked in the new store that was built right in front of the community where that kid was shot. When I heard the story breaking about him being shot, it did not surprise me in the least. The town is full of roaming hooligans and little thug wannabes, gang activity was high, and anti-white racism was thriving in the Historic downtown area/the hood. I would frequently get harangued by blacks just walking down the street and I had one try to rob me on the sidewalk a block from the police station until he saw how pissed off and armed I was.

It's a wonder more people don't get shot in that town.

The prosecution was also a joke. So, so many instances of missed opportunities.

Plus, there's the whole issue of the seethingly racist Sanford Police Department during the time of the crime. Any time an adult kills an unarmed minor who was not actively committing a crime, an arrest needs to be made. They played favorites, didn't collect evidence properly, didn't interrogate properly, etc. etc. etc.

But Sanford also has a wonderful history of being disgustingly racist and conservative. Guns are religion in Florida, and the state is more or less governed by the NRA. Sanford in particular clings to its guns like a band of paranoid creeps, so this verdict does not surprise me one bit. If any issue can be manipulated somehow into a "guns rights" issue in the course of discharging a firearm, Sanforders will heed that call of duty.
