What annoys me the most about this whole thing was how quickly MSNBC jumped on the race card bandwagon and wanted to burn Zimmerman at the stake. The same day this happened a mentally handicapped white person was jumped and killed in minneapolis by a group of African Americans. Where was the racial outrage and headline story for that?

This is true. Racism is only top-down and never bottom-up. Thus, in any situation where one racial group has power, they have the potential to be racist (e.g. mexican racism against salvadorans in predominantly mexican neighborhoods). This local context has to be further modified by the global context, in which power is highly concentrated in the hands of - mostly - white men.

Dislike or mistrust of one racial group by another for no reason other than their skin color can be bigotry or prejudice, but if there are other reasons for that dislike or mistrust, such as oppression, this is no longer bigotry or prejudice; it is judice, if you like, or self defense.

Also, there is no such thing as a "race." This is all a non-argument, using nonsense words that mean nothing, perpetuated by bigots.
