If you can handle minimalist mode more power to you. I tried it in LTTP and OOT, both times I got frustrated in quit before the 3rd dungeon, not because it was difficult but because I love secrets and avoiding them leaves me feeling dirty. most games being recomended are pretty old. If you have a Wii or WiiU, try Xenoblade Chronicls. I just finished the game and it's phenomenal.

That's because 90% of modern games suck balls. Classic games are the best because they're original, innovative, and they actually bring you into a world of adventure and excitement. Most modern games I've played just feel like shit, especially the online ones like LoL.

you say minimalist mode do you mean using nothing but sword and basic shield unless otherwise required? I was thinking going through and getting whats there just not getting extra hearts..probably not even using bottles..

now that I think of minimalist mode i might just go through with nothing but basic sword and shield unless bosses require certain weapon attacks.

I forgot how much fun I had playing Fallout 3. That game took what ever was left of my social life and shat on it. This one is next on my list. And thank you everybody who recommended me some rpgs, but I'm not playing any jrpgs (including any final fantasy except for 9 and 4 because those two are the only good ones) , I hate them with a burning passion. This ***** got me running around n shit.

Final Fantasy 9 is possibly the most JRPG inspired, vapid piece of crap the series had to offer.

Seriously. If you could tolerate Zidane as a main character but not Cloud or Titus, there is something seriously wrong.
