I'm pleasantly surprised if the game looks anything like that. It manages to have personality and looks like a souped up version of EQ1 to me - not the plastic crap from EQ2.

I really like the facial expressions the players/mobs had.

I agree the models should be i dunno grittier less shiny more dirt.

True but they used the same engine everytime.

They scrapped the wow clone theme park style MMO I doubt they changed the graphics to much.

With the environment around them and lighting/shading fog etc. These guys will look much better. If the orc looks like that imagine what giants and dragons are going to look like! Little things like how nice they did the hands on the "paladin" and the orc's shoulderpad looking like very convincing metal leads me to believe the rest of the game is going to look amazing.

Yeah, the lighting isn't likely to be anything like that in the real game. So not as much gloss. Looks great from here.

Although that first model seemed like something from Anime... for better or worse.

People are always going to complain about the art style, no matter what they do with it. This doesn't look too "glossy" or whatever to me; it looks fine.

I agree, its the proportions, i wish they could just make normal looking character models again. But the orc and skeleton looked cool.
