What is that supposed to mean?

I started last week as a cleric and am up to level 18 with 20pp to my name and I don't even have all of my spells. Coin is extremely difficult to get as a low level character who takes forever to kill anything solo and spends 98% of her/his time medding in a group. The only reason I even have any armour besides cloth and most of my spells is because of a few kind souls giving me stuff.

Preach it, brother! I'm in the same boat. Every decent item I am wearing is also due to the generosity of other players. Luckily all the gear in the world won't compensate for a shitty player (skill- or personality-wise), so I'm not stressing.

Yep, cleric is not cash character - anyone who has never played as first main really has no room to talk.

My CLR was my first (and really my only) char here.
Always had enough cash for spells and even some gear. If you're finding plat hard to make maybe you should re-evaluate how you're making it.
