While I don't dislike the idea of Great Britain (particularly now that Thatcher's dead) I simply have a distaste for Western Europe in general because of how over developed it is.

I'm not one of those lumberjack live in the woods types but I do like seeing trees once in a while. Scotland doesn't suffer quite as bad from this I've heard but I've never been there so I can't say for certain. Also Ireland (the whole island) is a trash heap no matter what way you swing it.
