All the bag changes were made to tradeskill containers which were never really intended to be used as generic storage.

Medicine bags are for making shaman potions, not storing stuff. There's nothing wrong with this change, the old bags are grandfathered in and none of your items inside them were lost.

And how exactly are you an effective combatant while wearing 4-8 backpacks or carrying 6 bags?

Are you a centapide man?
imo bags should have been a gear choice, wrist pouches, back packs, etc all using different equipment slots. Maybe it was like that at some point in concept pre alpha and they changed it cos it is a dumb idea.

How so? When picking grapes you take the low hanging fruit, not the vine that has climbed the tree.

How do you rank the need of fixing? If you had other fixes ready to push which were less needed would you really delay them as they are less needed?

This change took zero research and 5 minutes of coding. Other changes would need a lot of complicated and obsfucated research, and complicated behind the scenes changes which might break or imbalance existing code.
If they are doing this, they seem to have no intention of merging blue/Green and starting a new server like they said. Why put out such a huge patch if you plan on resetting and merging?

I understand neither the hypothetical and inference nor the question, let alone how they relate.

why not just use other bags like journeypacks or evil eyes and rucksacks and trunks instead of just using a singular bag type?

even then arnt the toolboxes in icecald still 10 slotters for banks? those were popular on live

On live I never used trade skill containers as regular storage. Too paranoid about accidentally hitting combine and losing all the contents. Now THAT would be classic.
