can you run game from a flashdrive

Using the minimal option above with updated textures and velious armor textures I got my game down to 1.51Gb so its entirely possible to put it on a thumb drive. How well your PC reads the data is down to your PC I guess.

Thanks for the info. Just bought a 4gb flash drive. Gonna try this out with EQlite version by FatMagic.

I have been running off of a flashdrive for months with zero problems. I am at about 1.29gb. I use the updated texture files.

I also having Logging turned on always, and take a lot of screenshots - no problems there either.

The flashdrive lets me play off of another machine easily, with no hiccup in my logfiles, etc. when I switch.
