In order for sim. Catch oth players must have BOTH hands on the ball, to attain possession. The offensive player had only 1 hand in contact while the defensive player had 2, giving him possession. Whoever has possession is then down by contact when landing, it was an interception. Sim possession never occurs. Because the defensive player had FULL possession first.

Nope, offensive player had 2 hands on the ball. You just can't see his hand underneath the ball clenched between the defender's chest and the football.
